This milestone approval comes after Mexico’s Secretariat of Labor and Social Prevision (STPS) endorsed Byrna’s less-lethal launchers as a key component of a DC-3 certification training program. Unlike previous general certification courses, this program, developed in partnership with Distribution Goel and a network of certified instructors in key regions including Baja California, Veracruz, Jalisco, Mexico City and Puebla, is specifically tailored to Byrna products. The course covers essential topics such as regulatory guidance, product nomenclature, target practice and simulations of real-world scenarios, giving participants a thorough understanding of both the legal and practical aspects of using a Byrna launcher.
