Who is Ellie Day, Jason Day’s wife?

Jason Day’s wife Ellie Day was working as a waitress in her hometown of Ohio when the couple first met. Jason was 17 at the time, and they didn’t start dating until a year later.

Ellie Day is the president of the Brighter Days Foundation, which is committed to providing basic needs and hope and support to organizations serving children in Central Ohio.

Ellie keeps a relatively low profile on social media, occasionally posting photos of her family life with her husband Jason.

Jason Day and Ellie Day have five children together – Dash, Lucy, Arrow, Ozzie and Winnie. Daughter Winnie is the youngest of the five, born in September 2023.

They married in October 2009.

Ellie is often seen on Tour supporting Jason at tournaments. Jason dedicated his Mother’s Day victory at the 2023 AT&T Bryon Nelson Championship to his wife and his mother Dening, who passed away from cancer the year before.

“I had tears in my eyes for a moment, and to think about what my mother went through from 2017 to her passing last year and to know that, it was very emotional to go through and experience what she went through, and then I had injuries on top of everything else that was going on in my life.

“And then of course Ellie, the amount of sacrifices she’s made for me and my career, I can’t thank her enough. She’s never given up on me wanting to get back in the winner’s circle. She’s always pushed me to try and be better.

“Honestly, I almost quit. I never told my wife, but I was okay with it, just because it was a very stressful part of my life.”
