North Boys Basketball Beats South in WCA All-Star Game

The boys basketball game was the crowning achievement of the Wyoming Coaches Association All-Star at Casper College on Saturday, as the North defeated the South 80-69. The North had a great first quarter, leading 17-2, but the South never gave up, outscoring the North 17-9 in the second quarter.

The North again took the advantage with a solid 3rd quarter of play, led in scoring by Buffalo’s Eli Patterson and Lovell’s Parker Anderson with 13 points apiece. Jackson’s Maisen Borchardt and Natrona’s Colton Rogers each threw in 10 points.

The South got a great game from Douglas’ Trey Rinn who led all scorers with 17 points. Cheyenne Central’s Joe Sawyer had a dozen, Saratoga’s Finn Rolseth finished with 10 and Kemmerer’s Chase Bowen had eight.
