While his younger brother continues to enjoy success in the boxing ring, Logan Paul is still mainly focused on his WWE career.

“I’m only going to get back in the ring with a fight that appeals to me,” he said in a video posted by Fred Talks Fighting, adding that a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. wouldn’t exactly be appealing.

“I have to be inspired by the dance partner,” Paul said. “And I have a good thing going in WWE. I’m the United States Champion and I’m much better at wrestling than I am at boxing.”

The 29-year-old has fought professionally twice, most recently defeating Dillon Danis by disqualification last October. Before that, he and Mayweather went the distance in their eight-round exhibition.

Paul’s relatively low-profile boxing career contrasts starkly with his wrestling career. He became an instant sensation in a part-time role for WWE and has only grown in influence since then. It’s no surprise that he’s happy to keep the status quo.

His comments came after Jake Paul scored a sixth-round TKO of Mike Perry on Saturday night. Perry was an injury replacement for Mike Tyson, who was scheduled to face the YouTuber-turned-boxer in November.

Logan believes that in a few months the same thing will happen to Tyson as it did to Perry.

“People who think Mike Tyson is going to beat Jake are not crazy, but Jake is going to end Mike Tyson’s life — no matter what he does.”

Jake has defied his skeptics every step of the way, but Tyson is undoubtedly the most decorated opponent he has ever faced. Despite their huge age difference (31), many fans will consider Iron Mike the favorite.

Beating Tyson won’t do much to help Paul gain credibility in the eyes of boxing organizations, but it would still be a big feather in his cap.
