Several new restaurants and a popular drinking establishment have opened or are planning new locations in Fort Bend County.

Below are some of the planned additions to the area, according to permit applications from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which are required by the state to meet ADA standards.

Absolute Thai Cuisine opened its doors on July 9th. The restaurant serves authentic Thai street food and favorites like Pad Kra Pao Kai Dao and Thailand Chiang Mai Noodles. The restaurant is located at 6420 FM 1463 Rd Suite 800, Fulshear.

Locally owned Revive Cafe opened in Fulshear in late June. The kid-friendly drive-thru cafe serves boba tea, specialty coffees, smoothies and snacks. It’s located at 6520 FM359 Suite 500, Fulshear.

The newly opened Trophy Tea Café serves poke bowls, lattes, and unusual boba and fruit teas like Jasmine Cheesefoam Milk Tea. Poke bowls can be made with tuna, salmon, shrimp, crab, or tofu. Trophy Tea Café is located at 23660 Westheimer Pkwy, Unit 660C, Katy.

Missouri City is welcoming Pho to Go, a new Vietnamese restaurant. Construction is expected to be completed in October 2024. The restaurant will be located at 2710 FM 1092 Road, Suite B, Missouri City, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Drive-thru salad chain Salad and Go is looking to expand its presence in the Houston market by opening several new locations.

“2024 is a breakthrough year for Salad and Go. We have the right offering and the right team at the right time,” Salad and Go CEO Charlie Morrison said in a statement. “It’s what people want – affordability and healthy eating.”

Three new Salad and Go locations are scheduled to open later this year: 7111 FM 1464 in Richmond, 11703 Highway 6 S in Sugar Land and 11111 West Airport Boulevard in Stafford.

The project is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in the spring of next year. The new Swig will be located at 20210 Fort Bend Parkway, Missouri City.

Swig opened a location at 26910 FM 1093, Richmond in February 2024.
