Kenosha County Students Receive College Recognition

MADISON — Erik John Sanson graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health at the May 2024 graduation ceremony. He earned a doctorate in medicine and is currently in his first year of residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the UW-Madison Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Sanson graduated from Tremper High School in 2012 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Evolutionary Biology from UW-Madison as a PEOPLE Scholar in 2016. In May 2019, he received his Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from Columbia University in New York City.

He is the grandson of the late Dr. John G. Sanson, the first coroner of Kenosha County and a 25-year employee and pathologist at St. Catherine Hospital in Kenosha.

NORTHWESTERN COLLEGE

ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Elliana Zerrfrom Salem, was named to the dean’s list at Northwestern College for the spring 2024 semester. Zerr is a senior majoring in biology-healthcare and theater.

ALBANY, New York — Anna Beckiusfrom Salem, graduated from the University at Albany at the May 2024 graduation ceremony. Beckius earned a master of science degree in biostatistics.

DUBUQUE, Iowa — Jasani Williamsfrom Kenosha, graduated from the University of Dubuque at the May 2024 graduation ceremony. Williams earned a bachelor of science degree.
