“Absolutely not, but I’m proud that we’ve raised $6.3 million in the last few days for the families of David (Dutch), James (Copenhaver) and Corey,” he continued. “Also from a friend of mine (who) just called. He sent me a check. I just got it. $1 million from Dan Newland.”

“And again, when I talked to the family, I told them, ‘Well, I’m going to send you a lot of money, but that can’t make up for (what happened).’ They all said the same thing: ‘You’re right, sir. We really appreciate what you do, but nothing can replace Corey.'”

“I now ask you to observe a moment of silence in honor of our friend Corey,” he said.
