SANTA ROSA BEACH, Florida. – Hey, don’t take a selfie yet. This black bear from Florida is feeling stressed, depressed, and needs a break.

Deputies with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office say they are monitoring a bear on the north side of Highway 98, near County Road 83 in Santa Rosa Beach.

“Bystanders attempted to take selfies with the bear, and he is clearly not in the mood for photos,” officers said. “The bear is showing signs of severe stress.”

According to the sheriff’s office, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will now be responsible for the bear’s welfare.

“Please never approach black bears,” the officers warn. “Especially those that are aggressive like this big guy.”
