The 2024 Republican Party Convention drew conservative elites, everyday Americans, and a healthy dose of celebrities, including musicians well-known in Tennessee.

From Nashville band Sixwire entertaining RNC attendees for four days in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Kid Rock warming up the crowd before Donald Trump took the stage with a “fight, fight” performance of a mashup of his old “American Bad Ass” and “Cowboy.”

Check out some of the different singers and bands who took the stage at the convention or just stopped by to stand next to Trump, like Jason Aldean.

Lee Greenwood is “a beautiful man,” Trump said during his keynote address on Thursday night. Greenwood has been a longtime Trump ally and sang three times at the RNC this week, twice to introduce Trump. On Day 1, Greenwood sang as Trump walked out for his first performance since the assassination attempt on Saturday. And on Day 4, Greenwood sang “God Bless the USA” again before Trump’s speech accepting the GOP nomination for president.

Country singer Chris Janson performed Monday, along with Nashville band Sixwire to entertain the RNC crowd. They played his single “All American Guy.”

According to Trump, Kid Rock (or Bob) was very excited to participate in the convention and the singer sang “fight, fight” and “Trump, Trump” in a mashup of his old hits “Cowboy” and “America Bad Ass” on Thursday, just before Trump spoke.

“He’s become a friend of mine over the last 10 years and he’s great, everybody loves him,” Trump said during his speech at the convention.

Who’s Sitting Next to Trump Tonight? Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Kerr sat next to Trump in the MAGA friends and family box on the final night of the RNC on Thursday. Aldean did not perform during the public session of the RNC, but did perform at a private event later in the evening.

Trump called Aldean the “biggest star in country music” during his acceptance speech. “He’s good,” Trump continued. “I like his wife even better, by the way,” the former president said, referring to Aldean’s wife, Brittany Kerr.

Brian Kelly takes the stage on Day 3

Florida-born country singer and songwriter Brian Kelley appeared on Wednesday to sing “American Spirit” with a gospel choir.

Kelley is known from the former country duo Florida Georgia Line, where he collaborated with Georgia native Tyler Hubbard.

RNC band Sixwire entertains conservative delegates

Sixwire entertained RNC attendees for four days at Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum, gaining a social media following shortly after the convention began. Check out their setlist from this week here.

The Nashville-based band consists of members Andy Childs (lead vocals, guitar), Steve Hornbeak (keyboards, vocals), John Howard (bass guitar), Steve Mandile (guitar, vocals) and Chuck Tilley (drums, percussion).

According to the band’s website, they have been featured as the house band on USA Network’s “Nashville Star,” Fox’s “Next Great American Band,” CMT’s “Next Superstar,” and ABC’s drama series “Nashville.” They have performed in Super Bowls 51, 54 and 56, The Daytona 500, the NHL All-Star Game, and were ESPN’s first-ever “house band” for the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville.
