The SEC media poll came out yesterday and the University of Oklahoma is projected to finish eighth out of 16 teams. The Sooners play LSU, Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina, Auburn and Texas. All but two teams are tipped to finish ahead of The University of Oklahoma.

Linebacker Danny Stutsman and cornerback Billy Bowman were named to the first team all defensive team. Wide receiver Deion Burks is a third team preseason all SEC player. The Sooners open the year on Friday, August 30 against Temple.
