Texas Super Kings captain Faf du Plessis scored 55 off 32 balls against Washington Freedom in Major League Cricket on Friday.

Du Plessis hit five fours and five sixes, but that was not enough for the Super Kings, who fell well short of their target.

Earlier, Obus Pienaar scored 33* to put Washington up 206-5.
