In a late-night live stream on Instagram, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defended Joe Biden and called out Democrats attacking him anonymously.

“Over the last several weeks, there have been lots of Democrats who have been giving little anonymous quotes to the press,” AOC said in the video. “To me… that’s bullshit.”

“If you have an opinion, say it with your chest and say it in public.”

The Democratic Congresswoman’s frustration comes amid a wave of news stories citing anonymous Democratic sources calling for Biden’s ouster.

“If this is what your opinion and this is what you think is best for the country, put your name on it.”

Pressure on President Biden to exit the race continues to mount after last month’s disastrous debate performance. The President, who is recovering from COVID-19, has crisscrossed the country to host campaign rallies in battleground states.

Despite his vigorous schedule, many Democrats continue to express concern about his ability to defeat Trump in November. Polls continue to show Trump widening his lead over Biden, both nationally and in key swing states.

The most recent polls even show Trump overtaking Biden in states like Virginia and New Hampshire, once considered safe for Democrats.

Biden, however, appears dug in as he continues resisting calls to drop out.

And with Republicans firmly united behind President Trump weeks before Election Day, fear of defeat among Democrats is increasing.

Ocasio-Cortez warns about the consequences of the infighting over Biden continuing

“For me, to a certain extent, I don’t care what name is on (the ballot),” she said referencing efforts to push Biden off the ballot. “We are not losing.”

“I don’t know about you,” AOC continued, “but my community does not have the option to lose… My people are the first ones deported. They’re the first ones put in Rikers. They’re the first ones whose families are killed by war.”

The Biden campaign issued a statement Friday morning echoing Ocasio-Cortez’s sentiments.

“It is high past time we stop fighting one another,” the campaign said . “The only person who can win when we fight is Donald Trump”.
